How CHS parking works
Hourly is attached to the terminal — two covered floors and an open-air third. Daily is the overnight garage across the way. Economy is the surface lot with a shuttle every few minutes.
When Hourly and Daily are both tight, Overflow is the extra field. It is not a walking lot. If Overflow is already Full on a Sunday night, you are late for a space on this campus.
Charleston fills from beach weekends and military moves. Saturday outbound and Sunday inbound are the hours that pack Hourly first.
Which lot
- Late or a few hours: Hourly Parking Garage.
- A night or two with cover: Daily Parking Garage.
- Several days: Economy, or Overflow if Economy is Full.
